Your role and primary responsibilities

As a Sales Manager you will be in charge of representing the firm and drive its growth by acquiring new clients and developing customer relationships. You will work closely with the CEO and across the whole organization.

Your tasks will include

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Contacting prospective clients via email, Linkedin or cold call
  • Meeting with clients face to face and pitching MDOTM products and services
  • Understanding the needs of the client and responding effectively with a plan to meet them
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive business relationships
  • Travelling and attending meetings
  • Attending conferences and industry events
  • Structuring the sales cycle
  • Conducting in depth analysis of the market and other players
  • Identifying unmet market segments and develop strategies to address them
  • Providing trustworthy feedback to the management to refine and strengthen the existing product offering
  • Preparing and structuring documents and marketing material
  • Keeping track and analysing all steps taken in the sales process (e.g. emails, calls, meetings) with the chosen CRM solution

Skills and experience required

  • 2+ years of proven experience in similar positions. Experience in an international environment within the asset management or financial industry is considered a strong benefit
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both spoken and written
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, International relations or related fields is not required, but considered a plus
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • The person we are looking for is a motivated self-starter and a strong problem solver with the ability to think outside the box and exceed set business goals
